Why should you become a member?Friends of McFarland Parks helps to ensure that all McFarland residents, present and future, will enjoy a quality parks system. Your donations of volunteer time and/or money will be used as you specify, whether for projects in your favorite park or as contributions to the area of greatest need. Becoming a voting member requires either a volunteer commitment of 10 hours or dues of $10 annually.
McFarland now has 31 parks and/or conservancy areas! They range in size from neighborhood tot lots to multi-acre conservancies. All 31 need the loving care and attention that can be provided only by a strong team - committed Village staff supported by dedicated volunteers and generous donors.By joining Friends of McFarland Parks Inc., you become part of that team. Recently, staff and the Village Board’s Parks and Recreation Committee quantified volunteer efforts. Those efforts have saved the Village more than $100,000.00 over the past several years. | |
